Again perfect conditions and an amazing landscape. There is something very beautiful and serene about Lake Vyrnwy, and the Castle Shaped Tower halfway up could be from a fairytale.
Didn't unfortunately have time to get all the way to the castle, but got quite close and I am very pleased with some of the pictures. Needed to get right by the water, but the path doesn't go that close, so found myself climbing over locked gates and fences to get to the water. The wild side has been unleashed and nothing as trivial as a Keep Out sign is going to stop me now!
There is a fabulous café on site which does fantastic cakes. After all, a girl needs to keep her strength up!
Lessons Learned: Be prepared to explore and look at things from different angles.
Don't post your pics on a Photographic Societies Facebook page asking for comments, as believe me, you will get them! You'll know what you like and don't like about your photos and that is after all, all that matters.
